В статье представлена попытка провести анализ методологических подходов к изучению и оценке детской бедности, используемых в зарубежных странах. На основании данных ЮНИСЕФ показано, что в России проблема детской бедности острее, чем в развитых странах Европы. Учитывая стремление Российской Федерации стать в ряд ведущих мировых держав, необходимо оценить перспективы приближения исследуемых показателей детской бедности к среднеевропейским стандартам.	The paper presents an attempt to analyze the methodological approaches to studying and assessing child poverty applied in foreign countries. It is shown that according to UNICEF, the problem of child poverty is more acute in Russia than in developed European countries. Given the aspiration of the Russian Federation to become one of the leading world powers, it seems important to consider the prospects of bringing the child poverty indicators under the research closer to average European standards.
